My little corner of the Internet
These pages consist mostly of bookmarks and information that I often use myself. So most of this site won't be that interesting to the occasional surfer who ends up here by some weird Google magic. You're more than welcome to have a look around though!
I was born in 1977 in Brasschaat, a nice and green village close to Antwerp in Belgium. I did my high school in Sint-Michielscollege and in 1995 I moved to the university town Leuven where I studied Computer Science at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. After my studies I travelled through Western Africa for half a year and in October 2002 I started working as a doctoral researcher for IBM Research in Zurich, Switzerland. After the completion of my PhD in June 2006, I left Zurich and started working for Reuters in London.
